Bromo Photo Story

Bromo! Ask Indonesian, everybody knows this place! Bromo is one of the prettiest place to see the sunrise. My friend told me that the sunrise and the scenery, it was like a painting of God, so damn beautiful. Well, I was not quite lucky to witness the legendary sunrise on my first visit to Bromo last February. The weather was too misty so we couldn’t see the sunrise  😦

Mount Bromo is part of Bromo, Tengger, Semeru National Park in East Java, Indonesia. It located in 4 regencies: Malang, Probolinggo, Lumajang, Pasuruan but the most nearby and most visited place to visit Bromo might be from Cemoro Lawang, Probolinggo.

Its cool air and breezing wind, the green environment with vilaggers’ vegetable farms, mountainous scenery, and interactions with the locals is very refreshing.

There are some spots to enjoy Bromo: Climb to Pananjakan 1 or 2 to see sunrise, running around in Savannah, take some photos in Sand dune, and see the Crater. Don’t worry if you’re tired horses are ready to take you on his back!

Ah, also we can meet some Edelweiss-men sell beautiful Edelweiss. But I pledged to myself not to buy any of them, taking photo is enough. Since I know that this beautiful flower is almost reaching extinction 😦

Visiting Bromo only once is not enough. Its beauty really amazes me, and I’m so so eager to see the Bromo sunrise 🙂
